We offer enrichment after-school programs and themed workshops for kids, families, and schools.
Currently, we offer the program for kids grade K-5
Through our hands-on projects, kids can experience the artistic process and express their individual personalities and imaginations!
The kids will gain knowledge and lasting skills to be confident makers who can turn their own ideas into reality. We encourage kids to be makers and creators, not consumers.
Making things with our own hands is great for developing fine motor skills, practicing active learning, paying attention, and building self-confidence.
It connects us to ourselves, the people, and the world around us.
It is also a necessary activity for the well-being of kids in the digital age.
Our classes are great for kids whose type is visual learner, who are interested in learning-by-doing, or simply for who love make things.
Adventure in Creativity is the place for creativity, hands-on learning, and to have fun!

About the founder and instructor
Sakurako Shimizu is Japanese born artist/designer. She has been working as a jewelry artist for more than 20 years in NYC. After her daughter is born, her interests She wants to create the
Sakurako received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Tokyo Zokei University in Japan and her Master of Fine Arts in Metal at SUNY New Paltz. Her works are mentioned and featured in numerous number of magazine, books and major website. Her work is in the permanent collection of Museum of Arts and Design,NYC.
